Tehran to open museum of celebrities

Tehran is set to open a new museum featuring about 120 sculptures of Iranian celebrities.

The museum will be inaugurated by Tehran Beautification Organization within the next six months. It will include sculptures of famous Iranian cultural and political figures.

Sculptures of figures that have been active in different fields such as Arts and Culture, Islamic Revolution, Sacred Defense, Children and Youth, Sports and Science will be exhibited.  

The museum will be housed at Etehadiyeh Mansion which is located in an area of 8000 square meters and is being renovated by the organization at the moment.

The process of making the sculptures is currently underway with 12 groups of sculptors working simultaneously.
